Awesome and Quiet place Positive: 10 minutes to Bethel and it’s at Redding Downtown

Cute not comfy Positive: The place was clean and stylishly decorated Negative: -1 not enough towels only 2 until the next day & they knew there were 4 people staying 2- false advertising about a couple of details- there was no laundry and walking to the food trucks- non existent- there is a place that had 1 closed food truck in a park that was fully in the sun and it was in the 90s 3- it has air conditioning that is not sufficient- during the day sometimes air comes through the vent system. The mini split that is controlled w the remote is in the bedroom and that stays cool but the front room was hot. We had 4 people and the pull out sofa was uncomfortable- both as a bed and as a sofa. The chairs at the table were also cute and extremely uncomfortable. 4- the management company obviously used an AI assistant to communicate. The ai promised towels to be brought in the am, but the person didn’t collaborate w the ai. She was kind and friendly when she brought our towels but the ai continued to “check” on us. My name was incorrect- used my last name- and I tried to correct it, the details that were given were obviously generalized as they said to do things that didn’t apply to this property- do dishes(no dishwasher) etc.The area was pretty quiet and no one bothered us, but some of the unhoused folks across the street were unwell. I get the impression that the town as well as this property is wanting to build up tourism, but there is a way to go in order for it to become a more attractive destination.

Restful stay with lots of thoughtful details provided Positive: The decor, thoughtfully stocked in the kitchen and shower. Fresh towels, two sets and comfortable bed. Instructions were clear and easy to understand. The ‘Dreme Team’ was available and helpful Negative: I was a bit intimidated by some homeless folks in the area. But there wasn’t a camp or anything. The area was actually really clean.

This was a perfect respite after a long day of driving! Positive: We loved that this property had a washer and dryer!
